Ask everyone to create a Christmas-themed gingerbread house before the party, ready for a big unveiling and prize-giving ceremony during the event! Collect photos of their creations, ready to share with all party guests during the video call.

Next, voting begins! We spiced things up by running a series of categories, including BEST gingerbread house, WORST gingerbread house, and most company-themed creation!

Decide yourselves on what the prizes might be, and get ready for some laughs during the showcase exhibition! 

3. Run a Virtual Secret Santa

This Christmas Party classic can go virtual using platforms like Elfster, which has a free Secret Santa generator for online events. 

Elfster will automatically pair a gift giver with a recipient, supplying the recipient’s name and address so the gift givers can send their presents ahead of time. At the party, your guests can show off their secret Santa presents and guess who they came from.

4. The Christmas Card Exchange

Bring on some festive cheer by swapping virtual DIY Christmas cards!

Spice up the exchange with a bit of competition by splitting your guests into small groups and challenging each one to create their own Christmas card using Zoom Whiteboard, Canva, or the trust old Paint!

Give them 15 minutes to design their cards, and once time is up, ask each group to show off their creations.
